v0.6.21

Current release October 28, 2026

Stage Call hub: moves land where dropped, GO passes scratched rows, and the caller carries the screen's name.

  • A drag on a board linked through the Live Mac's hub lands exactly where it was dropped: the board names the row the entry goes in front of, and the hub honours it like Cloutal Media does.
  • GO passes scratched rows over: every scratched row before the next performer leaves the waiting list and shows under the performed as "SCRATCHED — passed over". On now, Back and Return leave scratched rows where they are.
  • The caller carries the screen's name ("Sheila computer" instead of "A phone on this WiFi"), and the hub takes the caller's station from Cloutal Media so every linked board knows who is calling.

v0.6.20

October 28, 2026

Stage Call: a MISSING mark for each entry, carried by the Wi-Fi hub.

  • Anyone with the role can mark an entry MISSING from the Stage Call board, or clear it. The Live Mac's hub applies the mark at once on the venue Wi-Fi and passes it on to Cloutal Media; the mark stays through moves, scratch and restore, and clears when the entry performs. Cloutal Live's own lineup shows a red MISSING tag on marked rows.
  • The READY mark is unchanged.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.19

October 28, 2026

Stage Call hub: entry cues (Enter/Music) now travel with the lineup over the venue Wi-Fi.

  • A board linked to the Live Mac over the venue Wi-Fi keeps every entry cue: the hub carries the lineup's cue fields and each entry's choices, applies a cue itself (one entry or a whole section) and passes it on to Cloutal Media. A performed stamp it cannot read no longer counts as the latest for undo.
  • Uploads no longer stay parked after one failed access check — Cloutal Live asks again every 30–120 s and says "Waiting for Cloutal Media — N to upload". A running library sync can be stopped (Stop beside Sync Now, or the sync toggle); what has landed stays. The hub's log now says why each board link closed.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.18

October 28, 2026

Stage Call: a READY mark for each entry, set from the board and carried by the Wi-Fi hub.

  • Anyone with the Stage Call role can mark an entry READY (or un-mark it) from the board; the Wi-Fi hub on the Live Mac shows it to every screen at once and passes it on to Cloutal Media.
  • The mark stays through moves and scratches and clears itself when the entry has performed; Cloutal Live's own lineup shows a small green READY tag on marked rows.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.17

October 28, 2026

Capture-card sound stays continuous: a burst that arrives late no longer makes the music buzz.

  • When a capture card hands its sound over late, Cloutal Live now lays it down where it belongs instead of jumping the timeline: at worst a few milliseconds go unheard, and the music never breaks up.
  • The timeline is re-anchored only after a real stall of a second or more, or when a catch-up runs well ahead; there are no catch-up trims afterwards, and inputs keep their places against each other.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.16

October 28, 2026

Steadier sound from capture cards: a card that hands its audio over in bursts no longer makes the music stutter.

  • Every audio input is now laid down a steady 50 ms ahead of where the mix reads, the same on every open, so a capture card that delivers its sound in bursts (gaps of up to 100 ms) is heard without holes or cuts.
  • The one-time timing settle after an input opens no longer repeats itself after every catch-up, which had cut the music every few seconds and moved the camera sound against the microphone.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.15

October 27, 2026

The Stage Call Wi-Fi hub asks Cloutal Media less often and spreads out its reconnects, and an entry moved into another segment now belongs to it.

  • As the Stage Call hub, Cloutal Live checks its Cloutal Media mailbox every 30 seconds while the live relay is connected (2 seconds only while a board is linking), and waits 5 to 30 seconds when the server is busy instead of asking again at once.
  • After an outage the hub reconnects to the relay a little early or late at random, so the Mac and every board at a venue no longer hit Cloutal Media in the same second.
  • When an entry is moved into another segment on the board, it takes that segment with it, so the segment headings on every screen stay right.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.14

October 27, 2026

Fixes Cloutal Live quitting at launch when this Mac is the Stage Call Wi-Fi hub.

  • With "Act as the primary Stage Call hub on this Wi-Fi" turned on, Cloutal Live opens normally again instead of quitting at launch.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.13

October 27, 2026

Fixes Cloutal Live quitting when a Stage Call board links to it over the venue Wi-Fi.

  • When this Mac is the Stage Call hub, a board linking over the Wi-Fi no longer makes Cloutal Live quit unexpectedly.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.12

October 27, 2026

Stage Call stays connected at busy venues: Cloutal Live checks Cloutal Media gently, waits when the server is busy, and keeps the show moving through the Wi-Fi hub.

  • Stage Call checks Cloutal Media quickly while the show is moving and gently when nothing is happening, so the screens and apps at one venue no longer trip the server's request limit.
  • When the server is busy, Cloutal Live waits a few seconds and asks again instead of going offline; offline now takes two missed checks in a row.
  • The Stage Call board built into Cloutal Live (the "On this WiFi" code) is the newest one: names lead with the performer, Pause recording, and calls through the Wi-Fi hub land at once.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.11

October 25, 2026

Start Recording works again for every item, one step to use a camera and audio setup for all lineups, and Stage Call can pause the recording on its own.

  • Start Recording starts a recording for every item again (it had only worked after the "set to Don't Record" question).
  • One step for every lineup: set an item's camera and inputs, then Video menu › Use This Camera and Audio for All Lineups… (or the All Lineups… button on the Audio panel). Locked items keep their own.
  • The Video panel's menus stay open while you choose (the frame-rate reading no longer closes them).
  • Stage Call's new Pause recording button pauses only the recording; the live stream carries on, and the recording resumes in place.
  • During a dissolve the incoming video's sound now fades in as intended; the stream's start and stop never overlap.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.10

October 25, 2026

Capture-card sound that stays in sync, a per-item audio and camera setup, a stream and recording monitor, lineup display patterns, and a smoother, lighter app.

  • Capture cards (such as Blackmagic) keep their sound flowing without selecting their picture, and a frame-rate change no longer needs a relaunch. A muted input shows no waveform.
  • Microphone and camera sound line up: each input settles once after it opens, a Delay (0–1000 ms) is available in the input's ••• menu, "Line Up With…" measures the offset from a clap, and a clap heard by both inputs lines them up automatically. Inputs ease in after a timing adjustment, so nothing clicks.
  • During a dissolve, the outgoing video's sound fades out as the new one's fades in, instead of a hard cut.
  • Each lineup item can have its own audio inputs and camera; one speaker button mutes and unmutes; "Reset All Lineups to Master Setup…" starts over.
  • A Monitor card in the stream and recording area shows the Program frame rate, stream bitrate, dropped frames and reconnects, recording drops, two-minute graphs and only the issues that need attention.
  • Lineup settings: choose how rows read (number, main line, small line) from the lineup's own columns, the same way file names are built. A lineup pulled from Cloutal Media reads as its pre-order name by default and warns when it no longer matches.
  • Recordings start clean from the first frame when the overlay is left out, go straight into the target folder (no sub-folders), and back up the same way. A full disk or a missing drive is reported instead of stopping the app.
  • Stream sound stays exactly on time over long streams, 4K sources scale to 1080p without shimmer, and a stalled upload recovers cleanly.
  • Changing the source no longer stalls the app, and the app uses noticeably less CPU while idle.
  • Event Data: a lineup this Mac no longer holds is pulled again, and saving never moves an Event Data lineup out of its event.
  • The free-trial offer is gone from Licensing while no key is needed; the intro/outro on/off checkbox is back for device-code sign-ins.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.9

October 23, 2026

Team Voice works at a venue with no internet through the hub, sounds clearer, and keeps working once approved, even when the internet or your sign-in drops.

  • The hub Mac now carries Team Voice for everyone on the venue Wi-Fi, so your crew can keep talking with no internet. While the hub is online, crew who are not at the venue still hear and are heard. With no hub, Team Voice connects over the internet as before, and moves between the two by itself.
  • Clearer voice: the microphone is no longer restarted each time you unmute, the right channel of the Mac microphone is used, and loud voices are turned down instead of distorting.
  • For the clearest sound, wear earphones for Team Voice. With earphones, echo cancellation is not needed and turns itself off.
  • The microphone Team Voice uses is kept for Team Voice and is never mixed into your stream or recording. In the audio mixer it shows as Used by Team Voice.
  • Inputs you mute in the audio mixer now let go of their device, so the Mac no longer shows the microphone in use.
  • The chat icon is green while you talk, red while someone else talks, and highlighted while you are online and nobody is talking.
  • Once Cloutal Media has approved Team Voice or Stage Call for an event, it keeps working with no internet, through server hiccups, and after your sign-in expires. Only signing out, or Cloutal Media turning it off while online, switches it off.
  • Starting a free trial now asks for your email, so we can remind you once, 3 days before the trial ends.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.8

October 22, 2026

With Hide done items on, the item you just finished stays in the lineup, so you can uncheck it for a repeat or a mistaken press.

  • When Hide done items is on, the item marked done most recently stays in sight, dimmed with its checkmark and a small "Just done" label.
  • Click its checkmark to put it back in the lineup, for a repeat performance or if it was marked by mistake.
  • Marking the next item done hides the previous one as before. Unchecking the "Just done" item does not bring back older ones.
  • Each lineup remembers its own "Just done" item, even after you quit and reopen Cloutal Live. Next Up, jumping to a number and syncing with Cloutal Media work exactly as before.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.7

October 21, 2026

Faster uploads for the videos in your lineups and templates, with speed and time left, and a first launch that opens in a small window.

  • Large videos upload faster. Files go up in bigger pieces, several at a time, and use smaller pieces on their own if the connection is poor.
  • The sync status and the sync icon's tooltip show the speed and the time left, for example "Uploading commercial.mp4 — 41% · 3.8 MB/s · about 4 min left".
  • If Cloutal Live quits or the connection drops during an upload, the next sync carries on from where it stopped. Pieces already on Cloutal Media aren't sent again.
  • The first launch opens only a small window for the Terms of Service, then for your key or free trial. The main window opens after that, at a normal size, and never full screen.
  • The Terms of Service in the app are the current version 1.2, and you're asked to agree to them again. A key bought from Cloutal is for one person, on up to two Macs; a key that comes with a Cloutal Media plan works on one Mac. A key or an active free trial is needed to use the app.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.6

October 21, 2026

Videos and images in your every-event lineups and templates now reliably reach Cloutal Media, and a sync icon shows where each one stands.

  • A lineup or template whose videos and images never reached Cloutal Media, for example one synced by an earlier version, now sends them on the next sync, even if you haven't changed it.
  • Reset Sync no longer replaces your lineup with an older copy from Cloutal Media that is missing its media. Your copy goes up instead.
  • Media uploads cope better with slow venue Wi-Fi. Files go up in small pieces, and a piece that drops is tried again automatically.
  • A file that doesn't upload stays waiting and is tried again on every sync until it is on Cloutal Media. The other files still go up.
  • A sync icon beside each every-event lineup, in the lineup header and the lineup menu, and beside each template in Overlay Layout: synced, waiting to sync, syncing ("Uploading 2 of 4 files…"), a problem, or signed out or offline.
  • A problem shows in amber with the reason, such as a file that is missing or failed to upload. Click it to open Settings › Cloutal Media.
  • A file over Cloutal Media's size limit stays on this Mac, and Cloutal Live says so.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.5

October 21, 2026

Media for your every-event lineups and templates now syncs to your Cloutal Media account, plus template fixes, quicker lineup moves and a live Next Up preview.

  • History lists each event once. Pulling an album again opens its event and brings it up to date, instead of adding another copy.
  • Template pickers name the template each choice gives, like "Event default (US)". If a lineup uses a template that isn't on this Mac, the picker says Missing template and shows the one standing in.
  • Apply to All Lineups in This Event (in Overlay Layout and Lineup settings) puts one template on every lineup in the event, for example to switch the whole event between US and International. It asks first.
  • Right-click an item for Move to Top and Move to Bottom. Edit › Undo moves it back.
  • Copy to makes a new item and keeps the original where it was. The app says where the copy went.
  • Next Up shows the live camera under the overlay by default, as a small preview that is light on your Mac. Click Live preview to turn it off.
  • Every-event lineups and templates sync to your Cloutal Media account with their videos, images and logos, so every Mac signed in to your studio gets them. This no longer depends on which album is open.
  • Settings › Cloutal Media shows how much media is synced and the progress of each file. Reset Sync… syncs again from the start without deleting anything on Cloutal Media.
  • What syncs and what stays on your Mac: every-event lineups and templates go up to Cloutal Media, and Event Data lineups come down from it. This event's lineups, single items kept for every event, and items you add to an Event Data lineup stay on this Mac. See Help › What Syncs to Cloutal Media.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.4

October 21, 2026

Colour wheels and a full colour grade, in a Colour window with a large live preview.

  • Three colour wheels for Shadows, Midtones and Highlights, each with its own brightness slider.
  • A full basic grade beside them: Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites and Blacks; Temperature, Tint, Saturation and Vibrance, which protects skin and colours that are already strong; and Sharpness. Your LUT still applies.
  • Production › Colour… (⌥⌘C) opens the Colour window: grade while watching a large live picture of the camera, at full frame rate.
  • Compare as you go: Graded, Original and Split show before and after, with a line you drag in Split. Hold \ to see the original for a moment.
  • An RGB parade under the picture shows the red, green and blue levels.
  • Changes reach Program only when you press Apply. Until then the window is a preview, and stream and recordings keep the grade they had. Cancel asks before throwing changes away.
  • Double-click a slider or a wheel to reset it; each group has its own Reset. Settings › Video › Colour shows the grade that is on Program, with Open Colour….
  • The item editor's lock now reads Keep for Every Event, as in the right-click menu and the lineup.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.3

October 21, 2026

A clearer Terms of Service screen, a sign-in that stays, and syncing that never waits for another Mac.

  • The Terms of Service screen shows the full Cloutal Live Terms in the app, like Cloutal Tether's agreement window: read them, tick "I have read and agree", then Accept and Continue.
  • Links to the Terms now go to cloutal.com/terms-live.
  • Your Cloutal Media sign-in is kept: Cloutal Live renews it by itself and no longer signs you out after a night away or a brief network problem.
  • When you are signed out, Cloutal Live stops pulling Event Data, and shows that what is on screen is the copy on this Mac.
  • Overlays and saved lineups sync even when another Mac has them open. If someone else changed one you changed too, Cloutal Live asks: replace theirs with yours, keep theirs, or save yours as a copy.
  • Your settings stay as you left them after quitting and after updates: video source and format, colour, audio inputs, recording options, folder and backups, stream key, Team Voice and your album.
  • The capture card you chose comes back by itself at launch. If it isn't plugged in yet, colour bars hold its place until it is.
  • New recordings are named {#}-{Name}-{Entry Title}-{Category} by default. A name pattern you changed is kept.
  • Where recordings go on Cloutal Media is set in one place: Settings › Cloutal Media. Pause and resume uploads from the Cloutal Media card on the main window.
  • Opening an event from another album asks before recordings start uploading to that album.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.2

October 20, 2026

Cloutal Live asks you to agree to its Terms of Service and to enter a key or start a free trial when you first open it.

  • On first launch you agree to the Cloutal Live Terms of Service before anything else. When the Terms change, you are asked again.
  • Then enter your key, or start a 14-day free trial, to open Cloutal Live. Type the key in three groups after CLS-, or paste the whole key into any of them.
  • Buy a Key opens the Cloutal Live store.
  • License… in the app menu shows your key, the Macs using it, and lets you change it later. The Terms of Service are in the Help menu.
  • Keys that come with your Cloutal Media plan work the same way.
  • Signing in to Cloutal Media: give the code Cloutal Live shows to your studio owner, who approves this Mac in Cloutal Media › Co-creators. The request now carries the Mac's name so they know which one it is.
  • Title cards show the event's name once, and an event pulled from an album is named after the album.
  • Title cards can be renamed (right-click › Rename…), and title cards, videos and images you add to an album's Event Data lineup stay after the next sync.
  • Insert a Saved Lineup puts it right below the selected item (or at the end, if you choose that), and Edit › Undo takes it out again.
  • A saved lineup that is on Cloutal Media shows the cloud even when the network is down; only one still waiting to upload says so.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.1

October 20, 2026

Cloutal Live: one album for everything, and lists you can export.

  • The app is now called Cloutal Live.
  • The menu under the title lists your Cloutal Media albums and the lists on this Mac. Only one is selected at a time: an album drives uploads and Event Data; a list on this Mac works offline.
  • Choosing another album asks first: Switch Album keeps the lineup on screen, and Switch and Pull Event Data brings in the album's lineup. Recordings already waiting to upload finish in the album they were made for.
  • Every event and lineup is marked Cloutal Media or On this Mac, and Cloutal Media items say when they can't be reached or aren't synced yet.
  • Export This List saves the lineup as a CSV that opens in Excel, Numbers and Cloutal Tether; Open a List brings one back. The last 5 lists the app saves on its own stay in On this Mac.
  • The caller shows as online steadily while they are calling.
  • About Cloutal Live lists the open-source software it uses, including Google's WebRTC.

This version is no longer available for download.

v0.6.0

October 16, 2026

The first build of Cloutal Live to download.

  • Run a live show from one Mac: import the running order from Excel or CSV, take each entry on screen with Space, and stream to YouTube while every entry records to its own file.
  • Overlays fill themselves from the lineup (numbers, names and titles), and the layout editor designs lower thirds and title cards.
  • Recordings upload into your Cloutal Media galleries, with your studio's intro and outro added. The studio owner chooses them in Settings › Cloutal Media or in Cloutal Media itself.
  • Saved lineups and overlay templates sync to every Mac on your team, and a saved lineup can be inserted into the lineup on screen.
  • Right-click a lineup entry to move or copy it to another lineup.
  • Dark mode, a second backup drive, and a 14-day free trial.

This version is no longer available for download.
